Hemispherectomy Foundation Australia supports children and their families faced with the rare surgical procedure known as a hemispherectomy. We support families in Australia and New Zealand.
We are a health promotion charity, supporting our hemispherectomy community with information, resources and connection pre, during and post surgery.
HemiCon Family Conferences
We run bi-annual conferences to connect our community and to provide families with the information they need to support the best possible outcomes for their children.
PESA
We liaise with our sister advocate organisation in the US, the Pediatric Epilepsy Surgery Alliance, PESA, on projects to help support our families, including the Parent Support Navigator Program.
