After 2 cancellations due to the Covid pandemic, we are delighted to announced that the Hemispherectomy Foundation Australia family conference will occur again in 2023!
The dates for the conference are 19-20 May 2023 and will be held at the Adina Apartments Darling Harbour Sydney, a wonderfully family-friendly venue in middle of the best family-friendly location in town – Darling Harbour.

The conference will be jam-packed full of important information to support our hemi children and families. You will hear from specialist clinicians and researchers while having lots of time for the most important conference experience of all – meeting other hemispherectomy families and sharing what we know about how our children can live their best possible lives after surgery. In addition to the conference sessions, there will be a kids club and family and children’s activities to enjoy together.
Once again the conference is offered free of fees – all meals, childcare and activities are included.
Conference registrations are now open and the number of registrations are limited, so please consider early registration. You can complete the Hemicon 2023 registration form and email back to us on info@hemispherectomyaustralia.org.au. The form can be filled out online by adding text.
A conference rate has been secured for accommodation at the Adina Apartments Darling Harbour, so please quote the conference when you book. A welcome and registration evening will be held on 18 May at the the venue and hope everyone can make it so we encourage families to arrive on this day.
